Christopher the Christmas doll

Today, Christopher was born.
I could not help myself and had to make a doll between cooking, gift wrapping, cleaning, hugging, present unpacking, eating and being with the family 🙂

The first Sami’s boy ever!

I took him outside for a walk and he loved it.
Doesn’t he look so adorable in his corduroy pants and pirate shirt?

Love the Janea’s world fabric!

Love. Theresa xx

Jackets for Miss A. and the dolls

Today I used the bargain cotton velours I got from Spotlight last week and made a lovely fluffy jacket for Miss A. and also one for her doll(s).

Here is Annika wearing the cozy jacket.

Miss A. loves the new jackets 🙂

And a little coat for the 12″ dolls with a tiny pocket and a crochet flower. Looks so cute!

We are flying to Germany in 2 weeks and it is cold there, so the dolls need something warm to wear too, of course!

 Sophie wearing the coat

 Mirabelle wearing the coat.

the hoodie!

I enjoy the doll making and clothes making so much.

Tonight I also went for a last minute christmass shopping and I think I am done now! Yay! Relaxing time now…

Around the house

No news from the doll front today (apart from Sarah being posted today) and a custom owl that I finished for SaMu,

so I thought I take some pictures of our yard that I love so much and that my husband so lovingly tends to.

Here is a palm tree with the sky greeting it.

The sunflowers my husband and daughter put into the ground, came up tall and bright.

My favorite tree: frangipani. i love the scent.

 and a closer look

the trees and the bicycle hire van of my husband in the background (www.brisbanebicyclehire.com)

the buddha head greets the visitors.
enter in peace and happiness 🙂

and the back yard with the trampolin, the huge macadamia nut tree, the basketball hoop and the guinea pigs (not in the pic)

Wishing you a stress-free week leading up to christmas!

Market Day

Today I took all my babies and SaMu goodies down to the waterfront to Manly Craft Markets.

We were so lucky to be right next to Ken, the cookie man, who was our personal Santa Claus today.

he gave us so many cookies and little pressies for Miss A., that she whispered to me “Mummy, I think he is the real Santa Claus”.

Here are the babies all set up, watching the scenery.

Many many people marveled at them, took them in their arms and dropped them a bit frightened when they saw the prices, lol.

One day the right mumma who is ready to adopt one of them will come along. I am sure.

 Cozying up in the bassinette.

Sitting on a chair with the SaMu deer-lings.

Miss Ciara amongst some SaMu dolphins and elephants.

 All the dolls together.

Wishing you a happy Sunday, and maybe you want to tune into SaMu’s (my) big Facebook shopping night?

Christmas Dolls united :)

Today I finally finished all the hair and made dresses for everyone!!!

They are all so excited before Christmas and hope to find new homes before Theresa flies to Germany for a month (beginning of January).

This is Ciara, a 12″ doll.

 And Lily, a 15″ doll.

Zora is the tallest of all with 18″, her red fiery hair is a real highlight.

 May I introduce: Rebecca, a 12″ beauty.

Mirabell is 12″. She is the fairy amongst the Christmas dolls 🙂

Ellie is also 12″. The only blonde this time 🙂

Sophie is 12″, she is just so pretty.

I am going to take better pictures in the daylight on Sunday or Monday, but these pictures show off at least a little bit of the prettiness and joy of these little ones, I think.

Wishing you a wonderful wonder- filled 4th advent weekend!

More hair!

Today this little princess got her hair.
Due to a lot of orders in my ebay shop, I was busy tracing and cutting iron on transfers and the hair for the other dolls and dress sewing for the babies might hopefully follow tomorrow…

I think I will be up early watching the Bamboletta Doll upload and might try for one myself…

Lotsa Love!
